The Gordon Corvallis is seeking artwork for acquisition created by local and regional artists for display throughout the new hotel and residences, opening in Summer 2027.
Inspired by the art-forward spirit of The Gordon Hotel in Eugene, The Gordon Corvallis will feature a curated collection that celebrates creativity, community and a sense of place. We invite artists of all experience levels to submit their work for consideration and become part of a permanent collection that will be enjoyed by visitors and residents for years to come.

We are primarily seeking two-dimensional pieces that can be secured to a wall, however we welcome submissions from a variety of artistic mediums, including painting, photography, textile and fiber art, mixed media, drawing, printmaking, three-dimensional works and mural concepts.

All submissions must include required artist and artwork details, including an image(s) of the submitted piece(s), dimensions, materials, framing information and purchase price.

Please note: Portfolio or website links alone will not be accepted in place of images of the submitted piece itself.
All dates and timelines are subject to change. Artists will be contacted directly with any updates regarding their submission status or the acquisition process.

After submitting your artwork digitally, you will receive a confirmation email* letting you know that your submission has been received. Please keep this confirmation for your records.
Submissions will be accepted through September 30, 2026. Following the submission deadline, the Gordon Corvallis Art Selection Committee will review all submitted artwork during October 2026.
Artists whose work is selected for consideration will be contacted beginning in November 2026 to discuss next steps.

Every artwork selected for purchase will become part of The Gordon Corvallis Art Collection and will be featured in the property's official Art Catalog. This catalog will serve as a guide for guests, residents, and visitors, highlighting the artists whose work helps shape the hotel's character.
Each featured artist will receive recognition within the catalog, including their name, artist biography and information about their selected artwork. Artwork entries may include the title, medium, inspiration and other details that help tell the story behind the piece. Through this catalog, guests will have the opportunity to connect with the artists and gain a deeper appreciation for the creativity and talent represented throughout the property.

The Gordon Hotel and Residences Corvallis is currently slated to open in Summer 2027, and selected artwork will be incorporated into the property as part of the final design process.
